Set Pipe length format to feet & inches

I would like to know how to change the units to feet & inched in FABCADMEP.
I set the units with the Format then units but I still have to type inches when adding a length of pipe
when I pick pipe tool with the ALT key pressed. Anybody know how to set this? Thanks

Check the units in the first screen when in the DB.

Also check the current units in your drawing (via units)

Don't recall ever having to type in the inch mark since that is the CAD imperial default (Revit is Feet)
