Keep in mind too, publishing from CAM/EST will not push the data back to the original CAD/Revit model.

So do you publish it as a new model that is not associated with the original model the maj is created from?
Also, the lack of a Quantity awareness is really hurting their reach into the sheetmetal workflows.
Care to elaborate on this?
If you are processing an order of 10 identical things, Stratus wants you to create 10 instances of that same thing when CAMduct allows you to have 1 instance but a quantity of 10. Stratus is adding unnecessary complexity to process. Stratus is BIM oriented so everything should have an instance, but if you intend to process non-BIM work through Stratus it does make things more complicated then they need to be. With the ability to publish CAMduct straight to Stratus it does open the opportunity to funnel direct to manufacturing orders through Stratus.
I have published stuff with quantities, but it comes through a bit weird. Kinda throws some of the parts all over the place inside Stratus. Haven't used it for actual production yet, just doing testing currently with EST publishing.
It really just needs to better understand quantity. Manufacturing with Quantity is pretty fundamental...how many of this thing am I making?
