Fabrication Parts in Revit 2023 Issues

We are drawing duct and and changing it to slip and drive. Finished length should be 71" SD/SD. Once I put the pc down, revit is breaking the pc into 2 separate pcs. If I use the standard TD/TD it works fine. Any idea??
Thanks

You probably have a minimum stretch length and when adding the SnD the length is slightly over 71 causing Revit to attempt to make it 71 but cant because you have a minimum length so its just splitting it in half. The actual problem is probably somewhere in you connector settings and/or your specs.

The odd part is, in Revit 22 and 24 this is not an issue. Just in 23

Never use the Pattern Option "Machine If Length <". It's global, which means it doesn't work across all connector and material types. This is a very material and/or connector specific option. I have no idea why they made it a global option. It's only good for hosing your model.
