Part Material
(1/1)
sephirothnk:
We should have the ability to change the part material of any piece regardless of whether another piece is connected on both ends or not
CAMeleon:
All Part Materials on the sheet metal side are linked to specifications.
If you have a spec applied - only materials within that specification can be applied to pieces.
Program will not prevent you from drawing 3 galv pieces, and changing 1 of them to SS if you have your specs set accordingly.
Update - I didn't notice you were in Revit - it was early and I hadn't read where you posted my apologies!

I'm guessing you only want to be able to switch to a material that is valid for the spec?
From a behaviour perspective, what would you expect to happen if the spec calls for a different, incompatible connector, or a different std length?
