Database Material Pricing
« on: Oct 30, 2024, 15:45:11 PM »
Can anyone confirm my suspicion that even though you can create price lists for different materials, it is actually NOT implemented?

I can create different prices for different materials but the items on the drawings if they change material they do NOT pick the correct price, they only pick the price of the original material and ignore the material set on the drawings...

I don't see the breakpoints or material feature in 23 or 25. Under generic name all I have is "Original Pricing". What version are you in?

I believe you only have this option in breakpoint tables.

This has worked for us in the past, so I guess I need to check to see if it's still working.

I'm on 2024, recently we had a job with Stainless Steel Angle Rings, which there is a table under where it says Galvanized for Stainless, but it did not price correctly, it used Galvanized...

I do not have that checked and it works sometimes?
I do have issues with certain breakpoint tables that don't pull, but I haven't had the time to do a deep dig yet.

That seems odd.

Please feel free to email any questionable datasets across to us so we can investigate.

Assuming you are using the angle rings on circular, why don't you assign costing via your conmmectors and assign a material in your connector with either price list or break table?

Are you referring to create a connector for each different material?... our connector list is huge enough already...

That option does not exist on my 24 version, is it something added in 25?
