Our database guy told me that he cannot exclude the tabs and that I have to do it on my end and it only lasts as long as you have the project open that day.  Can you give me any help on how you exclude tabs in the database?

If he right clicks on the tab itself, it will say "Exclude Tab from fill". Note this isn't the the Exclude All from Fill option when he right clicks in the area of the service where the ITM buttons are.

Interesting. I did not know that carried to Revit.
Mind you it would mean reloading the config which is probably more work than doing it in Revit for that session.
