Changing colors of specific fields in reports/labels
« on: Apr 08, 2025, 19:34:34 PM »
Moving our shop to CAMduct from another program.  For part labels, they're able to change colors within specific fields in the shop labels for each project.  Is it possible to that with CAM?

File > Print Layout > Labels

right click the box you would like to change, and then under general. Not sure if there is a way to set it up on a per job basis though.

This is the process I used.  Thank you!

It's not ideal but since you can only load one label template at a time, you could create several templates with default colors pre set. The inputter would need to load the correct template when needed. Only other option is to modify the label print object color as needed.

You can also add a "Job Colour" field to you labels. You can then set job colour when you begin to process that job.

When you set up your insulation material, you can choose a color for it. This color will show up on your labels in the insulation field.

Good points, some data points do have color options you can define before printing the label.
