Labels for inner skin

(1/1)

cadbyken:
We aren't able to print the inner skin label when we have doublewall. I am not familar with CAMduct nor the labels but digging around, it appears that only one label set of labels can be applied at a time. As an example, for doublewall spiral duct, they are using a Label. Only one is produced when they want one for the inner and outer.

More than likely, you will have questions to get some clarity because I have no idea on the CAM stuff.

I am beginning to suspect that they are trying to use the wrong label for this but that is just a guess.

CAMeleon:
What version? DW as a whole is far from perfect within CAM. If you want the inner burnt - you can't... technically a DW piece should produce as many labels as there are parts....

If I input a L Shaped DW piece and run a straight label - I get 4 labels. 2 labels for 2 outer panels - indicating outer material.  2 labels for the inner panels indicating skin material.

cadbyken:
2024 and this is for spiral duct

That's how we do it and the labels print a backgroud shaded text with either OUTER or INNER...
