Updating from 2021 to 2026
« on: Sep 17, 2025, 12:02:18 PM »
I am setting up a new computer in our office and making the switch from 2021 to 2026. Is there anything specific I should watch out for or potential problems? Just trying to make it as smooth as possible. Thanks in advance.

I recently upgraded from 21 to 25 with no problems. I used the Migration Tool from the folder menu in program files and it worked quite well. Had to make some small adjustments with my reports but had it all working in a day or two.

They way step-down connectors are handled has changed. Also, you may see some seams, like on 45° taps, cutting into the body of the fitting. The notch will need to the "Notch Out" option checked. I also needed to update my end cap slip connector - the development was 1.5'' short in each direction.
