My copy of CAMduct comes with a report called "Cut List Angle" that shows the size of the angles.  Unfortunately, the size of the angle doesn't include the overlap between two angles where the two angles meet at the corner of a duct body.  We overlap the angles and then weld them together.  The first attached picture is the report for a straight duct that is 50"x45".  You can see that the size shown on the report is the air opening size, not the cut size of the angles.

The good thing of this report is that it not only works with straight duct, but also transition duct.  This means the report is in the right track when it uses the field "Linear Part Length" (see the second attached picture).  But it doesn't include the overlap.

Seem like I may want to know one of the following:
1.  A field that has the cut size of angle including the overlap.
2.  A field that tells us the width of the angle.  Then I can include it in the cut size.

Please let me know.  Thanks.

So. I have attached my version of a stiffener list that does exactly what you are wanting. The only caveats are this report goes by item ID numbers, so unless you have set item ID numbers up for your angle iron this one will not work. I had originally set up stiffener reports based on the item name, so I suppose you could do that, but when I started estimating , I discovered item ID's were the way to go. The actual way CAM gets the overlap amount is by specifying the "Adjust Long/Slide and Adjust Short/Drive under stiffeners. You may have to go further into the rabbit hole than you want to make this work for you.

Thanks for letting me know that solution of this problem is to specify the Adjust Long/Slide and Adjust Short/Drive settings of external stiffeners.  This works great!  Now, the Cut List Angle report shows the correct cut size of brace angle - taking into the account of the overlap between the angles.  This works for both straight duct and transition duct.

Greatly appreciate your help!
