Linking Fabrication CADmep dwg Files Into Revit
(1/1)
ZTR88:
We have been primarily using Fabrication CADmep for years now and are slowly making the jump to Revit.
In the meantime, we would like to link dwg CAD files containing fabrication parts to Revit so we can still model in CAD but manage sheets and backgrounds etc. in Revit.
We have the extension installed and can import .maj and .nwc files into Revit and see the parts, but linking .dwg files shows no fabrication parts.
Is there something special that needs to be done that would allow us to link live .dwg files to Revit while still being able to see the Fabrication CADmep parts and items?
Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Typically it was an object enabler that needed to be used but I doubt there is one for Revit.
Have you checked the option of "Save Graphics with Drawing"? It will bloat the AutoCAD file though.
