Part labels that contain splitter developments, clear connector info

(1/1)

cyan:
So we have a part label that shows item connector list and the graphical CNC part view. For the developments of most fittings, these are working nicely. But when a fitting like a radiused elbow contains splitters that are part of the development, the part labels are a bit misleading.

The item connector list obviously continues to display the item's connectors and the ends of the splitters show the connector that will be on that end of the fitting.

This makes sense logically, but the concern is this: Even if the person in the shop is trained and paying attention, if they see a "TDC" note on that end of a rectangular piece of metal, the potential to have a mental slip and run it through the TDC machine is pretty high. They should only be using that information for orientation purposes, you know?

Has anyone encountered this, and if so, what have you done about it? I know I could write yet-another-damn-script that leaves a note or something, but I'm hoping there's something a little more baked-in that we can do.

Thanks.
