AutoCAD LT - Audit Error - Maybe related to CADduct Solids
jonp27:
I am using the full Version of AutoCAD 2002 with the Latest Version of CADduct Solids
When i have accessed any drawing then saved it and exit it., not neccesary doing any work in it. And then when an AutoCAD Lt 2002 user goes into that drawing a warning message is displayed on opening it saying the following
___________________________________________________
AutoCAD LT
Warning:one Error was found during open. We recommend
that you cancel this open and run RECOVER on the drawing
Would you like to Cancel this open?
Yes No
___________________________________________________
If Yes is chosen the following message is displayed
___________________________________________________
AutoCAD LT Message
Unable to load this drawing file because it
contains incorrect or corrupted information:
<G:\0302\Elec\XE3001.dwg>
The Techincal Problem detected is:
The ''Rover damaged drawing'' selection may be
used to restore undamaged material from this file
<G:\0302\Elec\XE3001.dwg>

The strange thing is it leaves a blank space after it says 'The technical problem detected is:'
Therefore not defining the technical problem!
If i chose No on the first warning i would be able to open the drawing as normal
But when an Audit is then ran the following is detected:
______________________________________________________

When i return in the Full Version of AutoCAD 2002 i get no warning messages.
The Problem seems to exist in AutoCAD 2002 LT.
My Full version must insert something whether it has something to do with CADduct or my setting i just don't know. We have updated all object enablers for both versions to see if that solves the problems but it doesn't.
I would appricate any suggestions on the solving of the problem
Thanks
Andy Robins:
It sounds like the Object Enabler is not the same version as the application, check the version of the OE by going into the "Program Files\Common Files\AutoDESK Shared" folder, right click on MAPCADDUCT.DBX and check the 'Product Version'. Within AutoCAD type in APPINFO to see the version of the Solids Application.
jonp27:
I do not have a file called MAPCADDUCT.DBX in my "Program Files\Common Files\AutoDESK Shared" folder or on my hard drive could this mean i need it for it to stop the problem.
I have the folowing Files though
AcDbDimXmlObj.dbx
AcDbVbaXmlObj.dbx
achapi15.dbx
acismobj15.dbx
AcIsmXmlObj.dbx
AcLsObjXmlObj.dbx
acsiobj.dbx
Or did you mean on the AutoCAD LT users machine?
Andy Robins:
Sorry, I was not clear enough, Yes the OE will be on the 2002LT system.
The OE should be installed on any system that that needs to view the drawings and the CADduct Application is not installed, or if you need to view the drawings in Navis Works, LT or Volo View on your system, you need the OE installed.
jonp27:
I have downloaded the latest Object Enabler from Autodesk only it will not install fully on the AutoCAD LT 2002 machine. Our IT manager doesn't know why it hasn't installed and thinks there is a conflict with the actual Object Enabler and how it works witth AutoCAD LT 2002
I have emailed Autodesk with screenshots of the problems and i am awaiting there reply
