Wasn't aware, thanks for the heads up.  We'll just have to see how this affects both Autodesk and Navisworks products.  It would be great if Autodesk would use some of the technology to improve performance in their existing products, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't.  Oh well.  Thanks, again Bob.

Yeah we heard that hoping they will include it in AutoCAD now since they raised the price for AutoCAD ยด08 considerably

Seems pretty cheap. Maybe he'll change his mind like Billy Donavin :D

Ya I thought it was cheap too, I read the press release on Navisworks' website and of course it pretty much said nothing.  No insight into the future of the products.

Do you think it's a matter of time before the unthinkable?

I'm not gonna worry about it, but ya never know. ::)
Doesn't really matter.  Not like it would just disappear.

Andy, why would you say that?  (This could open up a can of worms!)

Revit - not ready for Primetime given all of the add-ons, work arounds, and general issues with Fabrication in Revit.  Tired of them taking our money for little results.

Just think about it for a second Ken,
AutoCAD MEP vs. CADduct...
and the winner is...
CADduct.
Wouldn't you be upset if you were the loser ;)

Yes, I guess you are right.  The nice guy in me thinks, or hopes, that they all get along but it is business.  At least we all get along here online, right?:D  Wouldn't AutoDesk have a problem with others like CADpipe?  Or better put, who has the larger user base (or maybe I shouldn't ask that here!).

But really, the way that I look at it, MEP is a tool for the engineer's and really cannot be used for detailing.  I could be wrong but that is my 2 cents worth.
