Decoiled Spiral pipe?
« on: Mar 10, 2005, 15:10:56 PM »
I am getting some very strange results from this downloaded job.
At the decoiler, I am getting 133 parts, looks like it the amount of spiral pipe on this job.
I have attached the archived job, and the DEC file.  This had never happened before, that I knew about.
Why did this happen?  Is there something that can be done to prevent it?

Hi Mike

Can you go into File - Setup - Installed Decoiler and check that you haven't got the Spiral Straight box ticked.

If this is ticked it will pick up Spiral only.

Okay; File>Setup>installed decoiler > [tab]?
Then which tab might that be on, Dave, I don't see the option for spiral straight.
There are several tabs to choose from, I can't see it on any of them.
Thanks for trying.

If you haven't got the check box Mike, I can only assume you are running an older version of the software.  What version are you using?

Sorry Mike, been out of the office for a while. The check box is included in the latest release of PM2000 and CAM-Duct, you can get the update from www.profilemaster.com

I have the check box now, I am still getting spiral sent to the coil duct machine, and the check box is NOT ticked.

Is there some way of stopping the spiral pipe from being sent to the coil machine?
