Oval reducing offset
I cannot find out why I am getting thousands of stiffeners on this one fitting.
I have triple checked my pressure file, and the spacing for the stiffeners are set to 120" spacing for the one chosen. Yet on this one fitting, when first entering it on a job, it orders over 11k angles.
After selecting clearing the stiffeners, and a redraw the problem does not come back, it's redrawing it from a correct pressure file, the same one it should be calling on in the first place.
Draw back to this is the pages of stiffeners locks the program up for a very long time, if I happen to miss the thousands of stiffeners it has asked for.
Is there a new pat 147? I need it if so.

When you clear the number of stiffeners, does the LOCK close, if so then a redraw will not call it up from the pressure class again, if you unlock and redraw, do you get the large quantity again?.
Can you send a snap shot of your pressure class, for "Fittings" and "All Types"

That's the thing, it doesn't always come back with the stiffeners when unlocked and redrawn, but it did on the fitting shown.
The pressure file doesn't call for this many. The file calls for them at 72 inch spacing, the fittings are only 36 long.
I think the second end is round usually when it happens.
My 'All Types' is blank, we use different specs for fittings and pipe. I included fittings, and an image of the oval reducer. I got it to happen on command entering the sizes shown.

looks like its using 1000000 for the calculation, 1000000/120 = 8333.
1000000 to us internally is an "Auto" or "Equal" dimension, what are the dimensions entered as, if any auto, equal try a real value.

Yes that was it, its fixed now, as a workaround, enter real numbers for the offsets, instead of using the options (Flat
, Central).

Oh you've found it? If I use a value it's unlikely going to happen? I can do that, but I so loved the central, our oval often is entered as strange decimals, for fitting size. I will just have to accept close to central. Thanks much, I'll know how to avoid this now.
