welds overlapping pipe fittings

When using fill between two ends and having the stretch existing items for fill tools checked, it puts the weld on top of the fitting and the pipe is touching the fitting with no gap. This only happens on the pipe that is being stretched.

CADworker:
Has anyone figured this out? I'm having the same issue with v22.
