Revit Feedback

Looking into but at least one seat or license for it and wondering if anyone else is using it yet?
A lot of the engineers and architects are using it now it seems and they do convert to CAD when they send us files but thinking if we buy atleast one seat it may be worth it.
Which leads to next question of REVIT MEP? ARCHITECTURE?

Just wondering if anyone is using it yet and has any feedback?

cadbyken:
CADduct doesn't work in Revit.  Those that have it use it for conversion and such.  I believe if you do purchase REVIT MEP you get architecture with it..  I could be wrong but that is what happens when you get AutoCAD MEP.

bparrell:
Mep comes with a strip down version of arch. Limited functionality. If wanting to add structural components in a snap.. meaning picking 4 columns and filling in members you'll need the arch package.

Thanks  -  Sounds like maybe not time to buy it yet - As long as architects and engineers keep converting files to CAD for us we can probably hold off on buying or looking into it .

And.... as long as the equipment suppliers do the same.... Trane is NOT converting to CAD, they are supplying Revit Files...  :x
