Adjustable Elbow

I guess I misunderstand what an adjustable elbow is then, could you please paint a picture?

Here is a Adjustable 90 degree SR elbow. the picture is the same elbow just adjusted to Straight, 45, and 90 degrees. I don't see a way to figure the stretch out (within reason) at any given angle.

Ahh, I see now. Looks like a usefull fitting, I take it these are Bought In items, unless you have a special machine for the gore seams, so they can be joined and rotated.
I still dont see why you cant use 61 for drawing, and set it to Bought Out, you can set any angle.

As the gores are rotated the rise of the centerline of the gores change with the angle thus changing the throat or centerline.You can't just set a gore to be a fixed hieght.Sounds alright here now.Maybe someone else could give a shot at explaining.
