View Revit Drawing in Navisworks
(1/1)
ScottieM:
Is there a way to view a Revit drawing in Navisworks? I have a building modeled in Revit and I tried to view it in Navisworks, but it doesn't recognize it. I can convert it into AutoCAD from Revit, but the model is all the same color.
So...is there a way to view a Revit drawing in Navisworks?
Thanks,
Scott
bparrell:
Have to export it from (native program) Revit.
ScottieM:
Someone else is using the program right now. From what I could remember, the export options were, dwg, dxf, ifc,...and i can't remember the other ones. Is that where you're talking about exporting? What's a native program export?
bparrell:
Native being Revit. Up in the ribbon should be an add-on tab. If you added Revit after Navisworks being installed you'll need to add the plug in by going into the control panel add/remove programs and choose the manange export and add the plug in

There's also this in case you don't have Navis installed on a specific PC,
