Disappear or go out of view?  I know it's easy sometimes if you're drawing things in at contract elevations that you could have text down at zero and your objects up at 5000 feet and when you rotate the stuff appears to disappear but it just shoots off out of view.

I do not think its the video card since I am using the same computer as before. The only thing I changed was from Vista to Windows 7. I have a daul video cards and everything seems to be working. I had just thought there might be a gobal setting to control this problem.

I remember having issues similar to this when we had files set to be required and hidden.

We had a problem before like this. It seemed that the cut plain was set wrong or something. When I rotated the drawing everything would disapper. I downloaded the latest object enabler and it fixed the issues. You may want to try that.

Does it dissappear in front of you as you are walking or rotating forward? If so, and you have not found the solution try this: Tools (pull down) / File Option; in the Culling Tab @ the Clipping Planes area; set the Fixed Plane: Near distance to 1 and the Far distance to 100,000.
Or Constrained: Near to 1 and Far to 1e+007

Thanks everyone for the help I did get one suggestion to work which was to selection what i was viewing and then hide everything that was not selected. This seem to work great for me. there was a lot of space junk way off in the distance which was causing the problem from my understading.

Try saving your Autocad DWG's down to 2010 version,, and having Navisworks open 2010 files.
