CAMduct™ Users / Finding the Right Post Processor - I and J Code issue
« Last post by jimbon on Yesterday at 20:39:33 »How does one find the correct Post Processor for a given table? Is it really just trial and error?
It is a PPI machine, but the PPI Post Processor in CAMduct does not create the same code that they already use. All the straight and angled cuts are fine, but the I and J codes are crazy. Sometimes they draw the entire circle EXCEPT the arc I need, and sometimes they draw the correct arc, but truncated. I cannot change the codes at their table controller because they still need to use their old system. I pulled the CNC file into CAMduct to see how CAMduct would interpret it, and CAMduct does the same thing to their code that their controller does to our code. Any guidance would be appreciated.
