You can make new ancillary kits by going to Database > Ancillaries > Type of Ancillary at the top > drop down to Ancillary Kits. I'd copy one of the kits you have and change the support rod size and rename.

FYI Revit will only show you kits in the drop down on your hanger if the kit has a support rod in its contents. Any other kits will not show.

CAMduct™ Users / Re: Where Does the Bead in Bead & Slip Connector Come from?
« Last post by jaysomlam on Jun 13, 2025, 14:39:03 PM »
Thanks for the very useful tip.  I can move the bead by adjusting the "G.Swage Set Back" in the Breakpoints of the connector.  I can also optionally change its "F.Body Set Back".

I considered this issue as resolved.

They come from the 'BREAKPOINT' option, hit that button and the settings are there... see pics...

CAMduct™ Users / Where Does the Bead in Bead & Slip Connector Come from?
« Last post by jaysomlam on Jun 12, 2025, 21:41:55 PM »
I would like to know how to setup a round connector to ask it to form a bead, like the one shown in a Bead & Slip connector.

You can see from picture #1 that the Bead & Slip connector has a bead.  On the other hand, the Slip connector doesn't have a bead.

But when I compare the properties of Bead & Slip connector and Slip connector, I cannot find anything that determines if the connector should have a bead or not (see picture #2 and #3).

I also cannot find anything that tells CAMduct exactly where to put the bead.  Seem like the bead is always 2" from the edge of the part.

I have checked this in other database settings.  But I cannot find any.

Please let me know.  Thanks.

You can export multiple after using the Write NC command which gives each sheet a number. My guess is without doing that it still exports them all but just keeps overwriting the same file since they're all named "Untitled"

Our shop has made the changes in the damper.  We find that the hole can show up on the sheet with nested parts -- at least on the screen.  We are sure that the hole will be burn as long as we can see the hole on the sheet in CAMduct.

We consider this issue has been resolved.

Thanks for the help that I have received.

They burn on our end, we've been doing this for years now...

Make sure you update all the licensing through Autodesk Access, not sure if it was a Windows 11 Update or Adesk's Update, but have my money on a adesk update fixed it on my end.

I just updated using the one they just posted on Jun 4, still have the same issue...
