Also agree that this would be a welcome addition.

Does someone in-house have CADmep, CAMduct, or ESTmep to try drawing these same items in a non-Revit environment?

They be able to see from those applications what is causing the issue.

Also, what does it say when you click the "Expand" button? Always worth clicking that for your screenshots. Even if what it says is useless, it takes that question out of the picture.

Got an odd issue.

If I draw a duct size over 78" or under 111" that is less than a standard length, I get the error in the attached snip?

112" duct size and larger it does not do it???

It does this on different pressure classes??? some other setting?

Solved- Screwed up stetting

CADmep™ Users / Re: CAMduct Report adding up total area by gauge

Set Item Gauge to 'Collect Rows Into Tables'.
Looks like you also need to set the Qty that is creating your tables to 'Normal' instead of 'Collect Rows Into Tables'.

CADmep™ Users / CAMduct Report adding up total area by gauge
« Last post by msheofsky on Mar 09, 2026, 15:01:28 PM »
I've made a decoiled straight report.  I have the total area for the pieces of duct and the actual area used.  I want my report to add it all up by gauge.  I have the following in my report to build it:
Item Cut Type (Filtered to Decoiled Straight)
Item Quanitity
Item Source Size
Item Gauge
Item Decoiler Cut Length
Item STD Straight Length
Item Area (Calculated to : (Item Decoiler Cut Length x Item STD Straight Length)/144 for my actual SF of material used)
I want my report to add up all the SF area of 24 ga, 22 Ga and ect into on number for each gauge

There were really two problems here.

Crimp connectors in the database I was adjusting had a negative diameter adjust on them. I am still looking at a convenient way to have a small end connector, like slip end, that can have a large end on the other side. But that is appearing to be best handled with a reducing pattern and some part configurations.

Meanwhile, yeah, crimp connectors should match large ends and if they need to be small, that's why they get crimped.

CAMduct™ Users / Finding the Right Post Processor - I and J Code issue
« Last post by jimbon on Mar 06, 2026, 20:39:33 PM »
How does one find the correct Post Processor for a given table?  Is it really just trial and error?

It is a PPI machine, but the PPI Post Processor in CAMduct does not create the same code that they already use.  All the straight and angled cuts are fine, but the I and J codes are crazy.  Sometimes they draw the entire circle EXCEPT the arc I need, and sometimes they draw the correct arc, but truncated. I cannot change the codes at their table controller because they still need to use their old system.  I pulled the CNC file into CAMduct to see how CAMduct would interpret it, and CAMduct does the same thing to their code that their controller does to our code.  Any guidance would be appreciated.

Simply make a BE "Big end" connector and adjust the bead & crimp. Then set diameter adjustment to match the big end connector and the stretch out is correct.

I noticed 2026 creating horrible looking icons now, they used to look good before with thin outer lines, now they are thick and horribly looking, is there a setting I'm missing?
