You can make an ifc or link cad in Revit. Do not understand upside down?
Hmm, maybe read your message wrong.

The t-bar grid is in the shape of the one on the left, I need the right one of course.

How did you make that T-bar? Here is my profile, maybe you drew upside down. You might be able to flip in structural member styles. See pic 2

Looked at button scripts (insert rotated) and scripting options (rotate after inserting all of the objects) as well but coming up blank.

Had an ideal last night and created the part from a different pattern.  Got it to look nice and all.  Went to fill it and nothing.  Forgot that CID 521 doesn't fill.   ::)

LOL.  If it would produce the LOD that I want, then i'd use it!

edit: I should state that I am completely surprised that getting that level of detail isn't easily possible.  Thought Revit is BIM software.

Same problem with the Angle option as well.  Flat side is always on top just points one way or the other depending on where the starting and endpoints are.  Ugggh.

I will study this after my meetings today but that looks fantastic.

Have I told you how awesome you are?  Figured you would come up with a solution.

Almost got it but it is still upside down, again,  from what I want.

Okay, I think I got this to work.  I am rotating the tbars in after they are place since they are upside down.  Easy with the pallet and adjusting the roll.

Some of the angle at the wall holding the grid is coming in backwards: vertical flat piece is against the wall but the leg portion is into the wall, not the room.  Can't figure an easy way to fix this since some work and some don't so that will be a mirror when needed kind of thing.

When running the aecsbeamtooltolinework command, it doesn't seem to allow me to pick what I want inserted so I just keep the selection set current and modify to the proper object via properties.

I will continue to play and post updates for others when necessary.

Did you draw the profile like mine?  look at the x marking the starting point Sometimes a piece here and there will be flopped and can be adjusted by pallet.

I was able to fix it tbar at the component level.  Pretty cool.  Takes me some time to figure out how I made all of these adjustments though.

Are these components accessible for other drawings if using Architecture?  If not, how do I get this to work?  It may just be easier to start up AutoCAD Architecture and work in that for stuff like this.

I need to play with the walls as well.

Doesn't matter as long as it is in your template you started with. As long as you can see it in style manager your good to go.
