Command and Function History
« on: Oct 20, 2014, 20:54:28 PM »
Frequently, users require to establish at what version a particular command or function was introduced or removed.

We have introduced a page which provides those details. Further information will be added in the future (CAMduct, etc.).

http://www.xtracad.com/forum/index.php/page,History2.html

Thanks to Darren Young  for suggesting and providing the information.

See you are getting ready for 2016.

Also, can you pin this?  Keep forgetting this is available.

Revit - not ready for Primetime given all of the add-ons, work arounds, and general issues with Fabrication in Revit.  Tired of them taking our money for little results.

I noticed that there was a FabViewer one, but nothing for ESTmep. I know the FabViewer and ESTmep used to share basically all the same commands but that has since changed (for example: Many of the deleted commands in FabViewer are still available in ESTmep such as ALIGNSCALE/AS.)

Is there an intent to update this with ESTmep commands as well?

Well, I just formulated information supplied to me in .xls format (by Darren Young) to make it accessible via the site.
I don't have ESTmep so can't help there but would be willing to do the same if someone wants to provide the information.

I suppose really it's something that would already need to be a work in progress by somebody to have recorded changes through any previous versions (or have access to all those versions to be able to check).

Looking at what Darren has supplied to date I can appreciate how much work goes in to compiling such data but if anybody has the time and the means...

Hi Admin,

Another Lisp function added to 2016 was GetTextPos which returns a 3d point of the indexed text.
