That works a treat.  Seems the explanation in the setup details was a little misleading.

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins and add the FabricationSample.dll from the build directory.

The dll needs to be copied into the new fabricationsample.bundle folder.

Cheers

Ok guys, as much as i hate to admit this, I could not for the life of me figure out why i could not get the button to show up when i opened CAD. I just now remembered, you have the option to hide and show certain tabs. I had the "Add-In" tab "unchecked" the whole time.  >:( :o

Thank you!

As far as I can tell this is still broken. I followed all the instructions in the documentation and I can't get the application to load.

I can get it to work in ESTMEP without any issues, but cannot get this to load into CADmep.

All the addins still load though they require a bit of experience to get them to build properly. Here are the steps to build the FabricationSample CADmep 2021 addin:

I was looking forward to rebuilding this tool with your instructions but the page is now missing. I got it done myself and shared it on GitHub for 2024 (later versions coming soon).

Been trying to get this up and running in ESTmep 2024. Having issues with the installer and placing the right .dll's in. Have you had any success with this version? I could have some conflicting add-in's from the past that could be causing the issue but, wanted to see if it wasn't avaliable yet before I go into a rabbit hole trouble shooting.
