Hangers snap to elevation and not soffit when flipped
« on: May 01, 2019, 18:31:27 PM »
On the command "Takeoff as Cut-In" you're allowed to rotate the hanger (or any other item) by hitting the UCS axis desired and enter before cutting in.

To have the hangers snap to the elevation of the section and not the soffit would be fantastic.

A smoother design line custom hanger entry would be great too. Right now they don't recognize sections.

You should be able to apply a section to a design line at any point.  You need to check "section" under the "design entry" tab of the service.

Oh man, thank you for that. I knew I was missing a checkbox, lol.

Big help, thanks again. Would still be cool to have it snap to the elevation when flipped, Autodesk.
