adding gasket gap to to flanges etc
« on: Jan 12, 2022, 21:37:57 PM »
Hi there been looking to develop a database in families.

The out the box stuff seems ok but the flanges dont come in with a gap.

is there an easy way to add this?

i've been CADmep user most my days so just wondering if there's a simple way to do this that i am not aware of.

many thanks

You would edit the connector and at 1/32 final length to it. However I moved away from that and just added gaskets into the service instead. For me it made counting and ordering much easier and when we got into process micro fittings and VCR fittings I was already set up with using gaskets. Just something to consider.
