So we have come across a bug where some of our users of ESTMEP have gotten locked into Navigation Mode for a layout and are unable to return the layout to a normal view mode.

This bug is caused when a user starts "Navigation Mode" and switches to another layout tab. Once they exit layout mode the original layout they started the command in will be permanently stuck in "Isometic" view orientation. The ViewOrientation button just says "Isometric" Not "SW Isometric","SE Isometric", "NE Isometric", or "NW Isometric"
(See attached screenshot) Another weird issue is that if we click on the "new layout" button while in this window, the fresh layout will inherit the same issue.

If we click on different view orientation buttons it does not respond. Nor does reset view seem to have any effect on the issue. The only way to avoid permanently altering the layout seems to be to close without saving. If you do save the drawing it saves the messed up layout with it and will be persistent between opening and closing the drawing.

If anyone has any ideas or direction how to exit this mode, or to fix the layout it would be appreciated. Currently we have just rolled back the jobs to an earlier archive version to "fix" the layouts

Funnily enough, a new trainee had this issue this morning. I had never seen it happen up until this point.
I resolved it by recreating that layout tab from global.

Yes, that makes a lot more sense to just create a new tab.
We are lucky they didn't have this error on the global tab itself, since the same error can be passed onto the global tab.

That actually seems to fix the issue. Great thinking!

Not sure how you found this fix but thank you, this one has had me scratching my head for a long time.
