Structural Families Websites for Revit
« on: Nov 02, 2023, 11:17:35 AM »
Does anyone have a good site where i can download structural families from. Working with ductwork. Looking for channel, unistrut, and some I-beams. For Revit......

Thanks

Revit provides a considerable amount of standard structural shape families in the out-of-the-box library.

If you want to use the structural connections tool within Revit, you need to use the AISC 14 and AISC 15 families.

Atkore (https://www.atkore.com/Resources/BIM-Library-and-Tools) provides a third-party add-in for a lot of Unistrut components.

Several Years ago when we transitioned to Revit we just copied the Standard Revit Content (Structural Steel), made a few changes and made it our own. I added the Unistrut content using the same format. Might as well bite the bullet and adopt it.
