Service Mismatch solutions for Waste and Vent piping?
Tye Austin:
It seems like there should be a solution for this... Vent services will always need to connect to waste systems but we get the Service Mismatch warning and there is always lag while it tries to figure out what to do... and sometimes it get's finicky and doesn't want to connect with a coupling or wants to stretch our the waste service instead of connecting the vent piping to the waste fitting... Is there a solution for this that eVolve or someone else has just failed to tell me?
cadbyken:
Not that I am aware. The software is doing what it is supposed to do.

well... I mean... not really. an MEP program should understand that there are interconnected systems. and when you are building a large waste/vent system, it's a ton of wasted time.

I just live with the notification, after all it is valid.
You still have a connected system / systems.
acad2015:
Our Waste service and Vent service are always on the same service template. So we draw the first part of our vent on the waste service then select what is suppose to be vent and change it in the properties windows. Prevents message and lag.
