Access to "Layout_Point_ID" via Evolve filters
(1/1)
patryduf:
Hi all,
I can't find access to "Layout_Point_ID" property (for Generic Model) in Evolve Filters.
Is this property acessible by any other means?
I want to find a particular point in the view and I have no way to do it except... none.
Thanks for any input.
DotNet:
If the parameters are not available within the standard Revit rule based filters, we need to export the relevant parameters from the point family itself. From there we can import the parameters into the project. Once these parameters exist in the project, we can use these parameters with any tags, schedules, or filters throughout Revit.
This isn't anything specific to evolve, it's just out of the box Revit stuff. See attached images.
● Export Parameters From Family
● Import Project Parameters
● Use Parameters In Tags Schedules & Filters
Once these parameters are in your project template, they will always be available. Likewise, once they are in a shared parameter file somewhere, you can always go and import them from there.

That's it! Thank you Steven,
Now, I remember!
Pretty weel explained.
Tye Austin:
If you are just trying to find it in a view, you can just open the eVolve point manager and check that point, then go up to the top corner and hit the little magnifying glass button and it will take you right to that point on your view.
