MEP Family Location in Project Browser
« on: Sep 12, 2024, 20:03:30 PM »
Now using Revit '23. I believe in previous versions of Revit, the MEP (for fabrication parts) families used to populate in the browser. Did Autodesk close this off?

In other words, if you look up model categories in graphics/visibility, there are separate lines for MEP parts. I do not see these populate in the families section of the project browser. Is there a method to make these visible?

I jumped into Revit Fabrication after its release in 2016, not that it was ready back then. Anyway, I've never seen what you are describing in your post.
Fabrication content is not available in the project browser. Only Revit rfa content is available.
The MEP Fabrication visual graphics only has sub-categories for centreline, Lining and Insulation if applicable.
The recent changes to add stiffeners within 2024 has a category MEP stiffeners and is also available as rfa content within the browser.
