Wider notches on connectors
« on: Nov 20, 2024, 14:04:48 PM »
We have a setup that worked fine when cutting in plasma, but now when we started cutting in laser, the guys in the shop are complaining that the (yellow marked) notch on the connector "is to narrow" and "it's hard to see where to fold."

Is it possible to make it wider? What options do we have?

We use a laser and never once had a complaint for the notch.  It is rather easy to flex the metal ever so slightly to make the notch VERY VISIBLE.

You can make the notch V right at the end, or even a full length V of a smaller angle in the Notch setup. Database > Fittings > Expand Connectors, Select Notches and find the notch your connector references. Here you can add X and Y values to change how the notch looks.
