Parts delete when inserting valve
« on: Mar 31, 2025, 19:35:49 PM »
When inserting a valve, multiple parts get deleted upstream and the valve "connects" to the thread-o-let. Pipe > TOL > brass nipple > adapter (street x FPT). Once I add the pressed valve to the street side of the adapter, the nipple and adapter get deleted and the valve gets located to the TOL but isn't connected of course. Also, when I delete just the adapter, it deletes the nipple as well.

Anyone seen this behavior?

Edit: and of course it works fine in CAD  ::)

Your edit was going to be my ask....
Your signature is the culprit I believe.... the "intelligence" in Revit sometimes cannot be explained!

On your signature, it begs the question ... why are we giving them our money for little results?

Only way to have Autodesk products is to pay for a a subscription that that gives us a product that is basically the same product every year with just a different year change.

The funny thing is that I have actually had that signature for several years now.

I've seen large outfits push for and receive a "stripped" subscription for a reduced price tag. It can be done.
