CAMduct Label insulation/Liner
« on: Apr 30, 2025, 13:54:13 PM »
Hello,

I'm more knowledgeable with CADmep, but I don't know a lot about CAMduct and all of the setting and I haven't been able to find the answer elsewhere.  On the labels for the ductwork, there is a field for the insulation Gauge (thickness), however, the label is listing it as 'liner'.  I've checked what I've thought were the settings for this, but since it's all showing the reporting information/specs as 'insulation', I'm not seeing why it's listed as 'liner' in the label.  The insulation is set for outside.  To work around this, the shop has been turning the insulation off before fabricating any ductwork with exterior insulation, which takes time, and costs money.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Sounds like the print objects description has been customized to liner.
Right click-->Properties on the area where "liner" appears on the label and see if it's changed to the text you're seeing.
A picture of your label and highlight of problem area would be beneficial as well!

It seems the description was changed to 'liner' at some point in the past, so that was the solution.  I didn't think of someone changing the name like that.  Thank you.
