Revit 2023 - Matching Connector Feature not Working
« on: Jun 25, 2025, 20:16:49 PM »
I am having an issue that seems to be specific to r2023. Every other  version I have installed users can "cut-in" a fitting and the pipe ends change to match the appropriate connecter to connect the part. But in 2023 it just gives me the old connector not compatible error. Anyone have any experience with this or know the solution?

*I have to walk this back. Every version up to 2022 this worked perfectly. I just installed and tried it in 2024 and it is also busted.

Review this to see if there are any clues. From what I read though, it seems that yours worked in the older versions but not  in the newer ones. Darren's blog shows the reverse.

Are these the same DB or different DBs (based on version)?

Thanks for the reply.

They are the same DB.
I went back and edited the matching connectors in multiple versions and got the same result.
Also I have this feature in 2019 and it works. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
