Normally when I want to automatically select Working Database as the default, I will choose "Working Database" and then select "Remember this next time" in the database selection screen (see the attached picture).  If I want to select a different database, I launch Edit Configuration to change the default.  This works fine in CADmep 2019 and 2024.  But this doesn't work in CADmep 2023.  I have tested this in two different computers, and the result are the same.

Would you please let me know a way to force CADmep 2023 to use Working Database without prompting?  Thanks.

Jaysom

Are you able to check your registry and see that it is saving it to StartIn? I believe this is the registry key that is holding that value (see attached image).
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Fabrication 2023\CADmep

You should be able to manually enter it there, and Darren Young describes registry editing here: https://www.darrenjyoung.com/2024/03/06/configuring-fabrication-configurations/

Thanks for the reply.  Sorry I was out of the office for quite some time and didn't reply.

I have checked the Windows registry and it is setup to start with Working Database (see attached picture).  I have also compared the registry settings for CADmep 2023 with the settings for 2019, and I don't see anything obviously wrong.

As mentioned previously, CADmep 2019 can automatically select Working Database without prompting.  That's why I try to compare the registry settings of 2019 and 2023 to see where the differences are.

If this cannot be fixed, I will have to replace CADmep 2023 with 2024.  I know 2024 will surely auto-select Working Database without any problem.
