I've been using CAMduct for about 2 years now. We're slow right now so I've been tasked with cleaning up our database. I was told that simply right clicking and choosing delete will not permanently delete the unused items and that I also need to find them in a folder in the network drive and delete them from there. The problem is I cannot find them to save my life. Anyone able to point me in the right direction? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Your won't find them in the folders.
They are burried in the "xxxx.MAP" files from the "database" folder.

The way I found th get rid of unwanted data is to...
1-Make sure they are not used in your specifications
2-Delete them
3-They won't come back until you takeoff an item in which they were used, like connectors, insulation, etc.
4-If they do come back, you will get a warning and you will know that that particular item has to be edited to replace the parameters that came back with the ones you want. Save it.
5-Purge database

Hope this helps

Use Darren Young's library scripts:
https://www.darrenjyoung.com/resources/fabrication-cod-scripting/script-library/
Specifically WriteAllConnectors (Library).cod & WriteAllSeams (Library).cod

These will tell you which items have the unwanted connectors/seams. If you are cleaning up a database, these library scripts are your best friend.
