Carry Over Double Wall NOT working

We just updated to release 2.35.042 and now while taking off Double Wall jobs it is NOT carrying the Double Wall information as it used to from fitting to new fitting, I have to MANUALLY set the Inner Material, Gauge and Insulation on EVERY fitting.

Checked the default Carry Over Values, Double Wall is still checked, what happened???

Hi,

Try turning off automatically backing up the job at key points (from main db -> configuration). If that fixes it then it was an optimization that was meant to stop us storing double skin materials with items that don't support double wall is wiping out the carry over info as part of the backup.

The matter is being looked into and a fix should be available in the next release.

Hi David,

Yes, after carefully watching the program as I used it, I noticed that the problem occurs exactly at the same point it is set up to automatically save the working file, I disabled the Auto Save option and it works, but now i have to be very careful and remember to save every so often to make sure I do not loose a whole takeoff.

This Auto Save also used to change your takeoff material when saving, that has been fixed though

I can confirm that was the problem - and has been fixed in the latest EST release: 2.35.046.
