What estimating system did you switch to TSI from, and what did you like better about TSI?

Well, we began the "hard" way using an XL spreadsheet that had a two point entry system... one pointed and the other person typed.....arrrgh

We "evolved" into Wendes, which only took a couple of months to get used to...no real "training" involved, basic setup was easy, and then you guessed a lot.

We moved to TSI pretty much exclusively for the promise of Dline and the 3D aspects... bonused by the "realtime" changeonthefly estimation abilities.  However, getting the earlier versions set up was/is daunting.   And then my database corrupted.....but I caught the guys in Vegas, and they fixed it.

(switched from QP) The Key with TSI / MAP is the common database that is used throughout the system. Est, Design, Cam, can track the entire project, from start to finish.
The long journey starts with the first step.
