I would like to see the program be able to either keep the Level text settings per CAD file or list all three (top of pipe, center of pipe, bottom of pipe) when you hover over an item.  The issue I'm running into is working on sanitary and HVAC piping and having to keep switching this option back and forth in the database.  So when I tag sanitary using center of pipe, then work on HVAC piping using TOP and BOP and go back to sanitary, it re-tagged it to TOP and BOP until I switch it in the database.  Or maybe I'm just being too picky?

I'm half-way on the page.  I see now in my services there is a Level Block column.  Can't find the help file though.  I have the 2007 UGM and don't see it in here.  Where am I not looking?

This works for labeling, but what I wanted to see was the info in the hover box.  I can have it set to COP on HVAC piping and jump over to sanitary and it'd still be COP.  I want to see it change maybe per service or something.  The level block would require me to place the blocks.  If I wanted to just hop into a drawing and look over some elevations or answer questions, I want the hover data to show it.

Thanks for the PDF though, I hope I can get time to go over this and try using these.

I can go from Duct to bottom of steel with the hoover tool ...no problem. If that works i can't imagine it would not work for your instance.

If I have it set to TOP and BOP and am working on HVAC piping, then switch to a sanitary drawing, it is still set to TOP and BOP.  I want to see the COP.  It won't show it unless I change it in the database.

Your level blocks now drive what you see in the "hover" tool. You have to set up level blocks for duct and piping and it will work.
Search this forum for more info on it. When you set up your level blocks you need to make whatever you want to see in hover available in the block. If you don't want to see it when labeling a drawing then make it very, very , very small in the block but it needs to be in there in order to see the information when hovering.

For instance our duct level block has the attributes for bottom of duct and top of duct but when labeling it only shows the bottom of duct. The top of duct attribute is scaled down to minuteness in the corner.

OH, I apologize.  I read the help file and it didn't state anything about this becomes part of the hover information, therefore I assumed we weren't on the same page.  If I had known that level blocks were incorporated with the hover data, I would've stopped questioning a while ago.  Sorry.

Yes, name a dimstyle "level".  If you want another for Numbers, then name it numbers.  When the dimstyle is the name of the texting style, the leaders work for the texting option.

Can "profiles" work this  way?

Have HVAC on one profile then switch and have Piping on another profile with the database settings correct.

How did you get the hover info to display what your level block is on that service ? My hover info just shows what I have put in the database (T@ & B@). Instead of TOPI & BOPI for piping as an example. Is there a setting to get it to default to your level blocks ?

Not going to give you the prefixes just the elevations as set up in the level block on the hover. As seen in the .wmv both had a B= but there was no top on the steel

Got you, I didn't really pay attention that they were the same. Just one had top & bot and one had bot.

You can now set if you want the tool tip to report the same as the Level Block or not, in the Cad database, "Ignore Level Block for Tooltip Report", if Yes, it uses the database settings, if No it uses the block settings

I can't find the Yes/No toggle for the "Ignore Level Block for Tooltip Report".  It's in the main database?  which is the CAD database?

Latest release, huh.  Is this the "latest release" I was suppose to receive an email about?  What's the standard for updates?  I remember in training they mentioned saving everything under a folder named with that release before updating.  Is this what most people do?  Where are the new releases?  I do not see anything on TSI's or MAP-cc site.

Your probably best off to wait for TSI to release it or your going to have some difficulties with the camm side as VP found out.The site is the one i posted that you had loggin problems with.
