Does anyone know if there is a checkbox somewhere or a setting that will keep the plasma table from cutting the bend notches before it cuts the perimeter of the piece out? it literally will go around and cut all the bend marks of a piece before it cuts the perimeter instead of cutting the slits as it goes around the perimete, its taking too much wasted time of the plasma head to go up and down and travel back and forth.

Sounds like your notches are being treated as inner islands i.e. not part of the outer island because inner islands are normally cut first.

Don't know if this will help, but worth a try:
Go to File > Setup > Profile Database and see if "Allow Repair" is checked. If not, add a tolerance and gap size and see if that helps.

we'll try that and see what happens.. my error tolerance was .001 so maybe that was the case. the checkbox was checked already.

ok, that didnt seem to work, its still cutting the TDC notches on folded pieces of duct before it cuts the perimeter of the piece.

Well i just randomly tried changing the TDC connection to a "shared" connection instead of "whole" and then it worked. what exactly does that mean?

Ok, now the next question, does anyone know why when the plasma table gets done cutting the last piece on a sheet, the head just raises and stays in that spot until you go to the controler and tell itt to go wherever. another program we use [maker] will go the beginning corner of the next sheet to be burned automatically.

Try going to File > Setup > Installed Machines. Pick the machine and click "Setup" Then go to the "Special Features" tab and check "Return Home at end of Sheet"

See if that helps!

On the "Machine"  tab try setting the "Go to Park Point" and see if that works.

We don't have that set for safety reasons. If your machine cuts front to back, the operator may follow the machine attaching labels. At the end of the sheet if your "Park Point" is at the front, the cutter will return quickly which is a hazard to the operator. Be careful.....

I would park it on table Two if you have double and or single table. It gives the operator time to unload and load before hitting start again. (Nothing worse then table flying back and catching sheetmetal)

Do you have the "Alternate Between Tables" option under the machine tab? Under the setup button for it you can tell it to Park centrally or Park at table park point.

You could try changing it to central park and see what it does. I have it go there so that it's out of the way for both tables. But we also have about three feet separation between the tables. Do you have a park point available as a Preset Point on your machine setup?

That location is determined by which corner is selected (red arrow in attached). Your special features are a little different than mine, but looking at yours, I would guess you need to have "Dual Table Rotation" selected, and possibly "Park on Table 2" if you want it to always park on Table 2. But that's just a guess.
