I have a user that is receiving this message when trying to change options within the LEVEL text.  He has permissions to do so but the following message pops up when he hits OK.   This is the first time I have seen this error, any help?

C:/Map-Software/CAD/LOCALDB.MAP

Error 4 - Unable to open file.

Replace his file with a copy from  your machine and see if it works.  His may be missing for some reason. I have seen this happen, don't know why though.

If it's broke, don't blame me,  it was like that when I found it!

First thing I checked was to see if he had that file or if it had the .LOK  No .LOK and the file was there!?!

I would overwrite it with a copy from your machine and see what happens.

Just tried this and it worked.  What info does this file hold?

Not quite sure but it does update when you make changes to your CadDuct BSS setting in the database so I am guessing that is where the infor is stored as this is specific to each machine.
