Use flex duct.
Copy and rename in the items folder.

There have been some issues with the arcraft cable ties failing to hold. Gravity then comes into play. Most clients not happy with that result.

Yes, but I'd rather be hit in the head with a 36" duct sock than 36" spiral!

I've never used fabric duct either, we almost used it on a grocery store that we're doing now.

I can assure you...that if a 36" round ductsox falls on your head, you are still gonna get hurt....that thing is not made with materials like with socks you put on your foot... :D :D :D

I think it cost more to buy than for us to build spiral, or at least not enough savings to justify. We need all the work we can get, for a while we were joking with the shop crew that they were going to get a bunch of new sewing machines ;)

Yeah, that is the ONLY claim Ductsox manufacturers can offer... "Oh!, you will save money in installation!"...yeah right.... Funny, we use the same joke around here.... :D :D :D

Owners who bought into those don't realize that you have to take them down every so often to wash them, as the pores do get clogged with crap...this is from Ductsox web:

"Like all DuctSox products, D-Shape fabric ducts are factory engineered for each specific project, UL-classified, and can be cleaned through an easy access zippered and cap or quickly dissembled for machine washing."
